10 Erfolgsfaktoren: Diese Themen beschäftigen die Immobilienbranche in 2024

Digital Mindset

The success of a company is shaped by the actions of its employees. Their views and decisions form the bedrock of the corporate culture. Employees who are not satisfied with the status quo and who explore and implement innovative solutions often drive digital transformation from within. A workforce with a strong digital mindset can accelerate and enhance the success of business transformation.

Data

Data availability and accessibility remain limited. Due to breaks in media, non-standardised processes, and analogue document storage, only a small portion of the data generated in the construction and real estate industries is currently usable. Effective data collection, structuring, and processing are essential for leveraging data-driven insights and establishing improved processes.

New Perspectives

Future success for companies will hinge on cross-industry collaboration, creating extended ecosystems, and partnering with startups and innovators. This means collaborating as equals, sharing knowledge, and turning synergies into new and more efficient solutions.

Sustainability

Sustainable project development is increasingly crucial, particularly with regulations like the Disclosure Regulation affecting the construction and real estate sectors from March 2021. Aligning business strategies early and comprehensively with ESG regulations will set the stage for future competitiveness.

Digitalisation

Digitalisation goes beyond investing in the latest technology. It involves rethinking and optimising existing processes rather than merely digitising analogue methods. True digital transformation occurs when processes are made more efficient and effective in the long term. Real estate companies can benefit from various digital solutions already available in the market.

Lean Organisation

To navigate uncertain and challenging times, focusing on core business activities is vital. This focus can be achieved by concentrating on essentials: identifying strengths and areas for efficiency improvements. Agile organisational methods like Lean Management offer practical guidance for this type of change management, enhancing interdisciplinary collaboration, external interfaces, and communication.

Automation

Technology eliminates time-consuming, repetitive manual processes. Automation through digital solutions saves time, increases efficiency, and enhances security in construction and real estate projects. Examples include the secure automatic transfer of data, automatically prioritised tasks, and automated project assignments.

Interfaces

The greatest economic benefit arises when intelligent solutions and data systems are interconnected. Integrating individual solutions through appropriate interfaces enables comprehensive process optimisation within a company. This integration requires transparency and accurate data capture.

Staff Development

Studies show that a lack of personnel resources slows digital transformation. By training employees in new technologies and solutions and offering education in new working methods, companies build a foundation for embracing digitalisation. This also positions them as attractive employers for young professionals who bring fresh perspectives.

Artificial Intelligence

Advanced artificial intelligence possesses planning and learning capabilities, human communication skills, and logical reasoning. The synergy between humans and computers can replicate human-like decision-making structures. Benefits are evident in data-driven decisions in acquisition and construction execution. For the construction and real estate sectors, it is crucial to lay the groundwork for the future by making information digitally accessible now.
