Cloud-Based Cost Controlling: Hines and Alasco Join for Lighthouse Projects in Germany
Hines Immobilien GmbH uses Alasco for its digital cost controlling of five major projects, including Berlin’s Südkreuz residential district, and the Tucherpark and aer urban developmental projects in Munich.
Flexibility and standardisation for project team cooperation
“The Corona pandemic showed us that real estate concepts have to be very adaptable. The cooperation and work methods that deliver success to our projects require comprehensive flexibility. We brought Alasco on board to establish standardised projects and transfer workflows into the digital realm. That creates transparency and helps everyone place their trust in the data we work with. We were impressed by the rapid implementation achieved by Alasco’s developer team. Their work lets us successfully expedite our processes,” says Robert Leibl, senior construction manager at Hines Immobilien GmbH.
Lighthouse projects across Germany: The Südkreuz residential district in Berlin, the aer campus in Munich, and the KOE37 quarter in Düsseldorf
The long-term cooperation that’s been agreed upon is a continuation of a successful pilot project between Hines and Alasco. The real estate firm is currently controlling the cost and revenue streams of five major projects in Germany together with Alasco. These include the Südkreuz residential complex in Berlin, and the KOE37 campus in Düsseldorf. Projects in Munich include the Fürstenried West quarter, the Tucherpark and the aer urban developmental projects.
Alasco founder Benjamin Günther notes how “Hines is playing a key global role in real estate development. The company not only creates living space, residential, and industrial properties that are custom-fit for the future, but is furthermore a leader in modern project work. We look forward to successfully tackling the upcoming complex controlling challenges together with Hines as we standardise projects while implementing the latest technologies.”
