Our Values

Trust

We hire great people like you and then get out of your way: sharing context openly, handing over real responsibility, and celebrating what they build. When you need backup, we support one another.

Ambition

Good enough isn't good enough. We're building the AI-powered future of real estate  and that takes people who push limits, ask “why”, and aren't afraid to make mistakes. We set goals that scare us a little, find ways to hit them, and pull each other forward along the way.

Positivity

We look for opportunity before we look for obstacles. We assume the best in the people around us, and we back that up every day. That mindset doesn't just make the work better,  it makes the whole ride worth taking.

Appreciation

Different backgrounds. Different disciplines. Different ways of thinking. This is essential to how we build something worth building. We respect what our customers create and take seriously the role we play in it. When things go wrong, we don't point fingers. We learn, adjust, and move forward together.

"What I like about Alasco most is that ideas don't stay theoretical for long. If something can make our teams faster or smarter, we just build it. My day-to-day is all about turning operations and AI into real leverage: building agents that help GTM spot risks and opportunities before anyone else does. It's rare to work somewhere that trusts you to experiment that openly, and to actually see your work change how colleagues work every day.”

Anastasia Koslova | Revenue Operations Lead

"Real estate is overdue for change and at Alasco we are bringing the industry into the age of AI. What makes that rare: the chance to build something that's never been built before with people who are ambitious enough to actually make it happen.”

Benedict Marzahn | Co-CEO

"What I enjoy most about working at Alasco is the level of ownership you can take.

Your impact isn't limited by your role—if there's something you're interested in improving, people will support you in making it happen.
For me, that has meant contributing beyond frontend engineering, helping drive AI adoption and automation, and learning every day from talented colleagues who genuinely care about building great things together.”

Clara Picot | Software Engineer

"At Alasco, more happens in a month than elsewhere in a year. That energy, combined with a team that has each other's backs, makes it a place where you genuinely look forward to achieving great things every day.”

Thao Nguyen Hong | Account Executive

faq

We’ve put together some commonly asked questions

What is Alasco and what do you actually build?

Real estate is one of the world’s largest, most capital-intensive - and least digitized - industries. We’re changing that. Alasco is building the leading AI Platform for Real Estate, purpose-built for an era in which AI fundamentally reshapes how decisions are made.

If you want to work where technological possibility has a direct seat at the decision-making table, this is your place.

We deliver impact to several hundred customers already today - making investment and construction decisions measurably better for our customers. And we’re just getting started.

What does the recruitment process look like?

We always aim to provide both sides, applicant and Alasco, the opportunity to understand if a new position with Alasco is really a perfect match. And we really want to understand your experiences and skills thoroughly. Typically, the process takes overall 2-4 weeks from application to contract signing.

Note: The process and time may vary depending on position and seniority.

  • Pre-Interview - A 30-minute conversation with one of our recruiters. We want to get to know you as a person, hear about your experience, and understand your motivation. You'll also have plenty of room to ask your first questions about the role and Alasco.
  • Hiring Manager Interview - A 45-60 minute conversation. Expect the first real depth on the role - you'll get a much clearer picture of what the job actually looks like, and we'll explore cultural alignment and your professional background together.
  • Case Study Interview - A 90-minute deep-dive into your skills and the role. Depending on the position, you may receive a task beforehand to show us how you think and work
  • Founder Interview - The final stage. You'll connect with one of our C-Level team, close any open questions on both sides, and get a feel for where Alasco is headed.
What should I include in my application?

Please submit a tailored resume that highlights your most relevant experience, skills, and achievements for this role. A cover letter is not required.

Your resume should ideally include:

  • Work experience (key responsibilities and measurable impact where possible)
  • Education and any relevant coursework or certifications
  • Skills and tools you’ve used (e.g., systems, methodologies, languages, or domain expertise)
  • Projects or portfolio links (GitHub, website, publications, case studies, etc.), if applicable
  • Availability and work authorization (if relevant for the role)

Before the final interview stages, we’ll ask for your academic and professional references.

Do you offer internships or early career positions?

Yes, we offer a range of internships, working student and entry-level positions for recent graduates and those starting their careers. Please understand that we currently do not offer internships for students without a Bachelor degree or equivalent. Internships are offered throughout the whole year but should at least last for 3 months.

What language does Alasco operate in?

English is our company language - across meetings, documentation, and day-to-day communication. Our team brings together 20+ nationalities, and English is what keeps us all on the same page.
For some roles, German is a requirement - particularly in customer-facing positions. If that's the case, you'll see it clearly stated in the job description. Interviews for those roles may also be conducted in German.

Do you offer remote work?

We offer select positions in a fully remote setting, which will be indicated in the respective job description. As a company, we work in a hybrid setup and value being together in person to push our mission forward.

On top of that, you can work from anywhere in Europe for up to 4 weeks a year with our Workation policy.

Please note that, depending on the role and team needs, this setup may vary.

What benefits does Alasco offer?

We think the best benefit is the work itself - but we also make sure the rest adds up:

  • Development Budget - 2,000 EUR per year plus 3 dedicated development days to grow in the direction that matters to you
  • ESOP - You participate directly in Alasco's success through our Employee Stock Option Plan
  • Flexweek - 2 days office, 3 days flexible depending on situation and position
  • Workation - Work from anywhere in Europe for up to 4 weeks a year
  • 28 days vacation for full time employees
  • Mobility & Sport - Choose between EGYM Wellpass or Navit
  • Team Events - Regular events organised by colleagues, for colleagues
What is the team like?

We're a team of around 75 people from 20+ nationalities, based in Munich. Different backgrounds, different disciplines, different ways of thinking - that's not a nice-to-have, it's how we build something worth building.

We move fast, give each other real feedback, and take ownership seriously. There's no micromanagement here - you get real responsibility from day one, and the trust to run with it.

The team spirit is something people consistently highlight about Alasco. We work hard, but we also genuinely enjoy the ride.

Do I need a background in real estate?

No. Most of our team didn't come from real estate - and that's intentional. We hire for curiosity, drive, and the ability to think clearly about hard problems.

What helps is a genuine interest in understanding the industry you're building for. Real estate is complex, high-stakes, and still largely untouched by technology - once you get it, it's hard not to find it fascinating.

What does AI-First actually mean for my day-to-day?

It means AI is not a side project or a future promise - it's how we work right now. Internally, our team uses AI tools across the board to move faster, think sharper, and focus on what actually matters.

On the product side, AI is embedded directly into our platform - automating the tedious, surfacing what matters, and giving our customers financial visibility they've never had before.

AI literacy is not a bonus at Alasco - it's a baseline expectation for every role. You don't need to be an engineer, but you should be genuinely curious about what's possible and willing to push the boundaries of how you work.

Let's build great things together. Join our team!
