Pillar Candle Kits

PILLAR CANDLE INSTRUCTIONS

Alasco Rubber and Plastics has made what we think is the simplest in-home candle making process available. Open the package and find:

• Colored polyurethane base with groove and wick hole
• Aluminum pillar tube
• Wicking material (3)

We recommend using a cake pan, cookie sheet or other flat metal surface, then:

• Step 1 – Insert wick into the center hole of the colored base, groove side up.
• Step 2 – Set colored base and wick flat on metal surface and fully insert aluminum tube into groove.
• Step 3 – Make certain wick is centered. You may want to hold the wick with some form of gripper (not fingers) and pour your wax into the aluminum tube.
• Step 4 – Allow the candle to cool in the aluminum tube. (After approximately 30 minutes, you may want to pour additional wax for flattest results.) **Hint: cool the candle in your refrigerator.
• Step 5 – When cooled, grasp the aluminum tube and slowly remove from the colored base. Be careful. The candle comes out easily. Do not drop it.
• Step 6 – Cut the colored portion of the wick which was removed from the base, and ENJOY YOUR NEW CANDLE!!!!
