FLOATING CANDLE INSTRUCTIONS
Open the floating candle mold package and find:
- Two-part polyurethane mold with two locator pins
- One part has small wicking hole in middle
- One part has larger pouring hold in middle
- Wicking material
We recommend using a cake pan, cookie sheet or other flat metal surface,
then:
- Step 1 – Insert wick material through the flat bottom side
of the mold.
- Step 2 – Line up the two locator pins and put the two halves
of the
mold together. Set the entire mold flat. The wicking material is now
visible
through the pouring hole on the top side of the mold.
- Step 3 – Make certain the wick is centered. You may want to
hold the wick with some form of gripper (not your fingers).

- Step 4 – Pour your wax into the pouring hole. Fill the mold
to the top.
- Step 5 – Allow the candle to cool in the mold. (After about
30 minutes you
may want to pour additional wax for flattest results.) Hint: cool
the candle
in your refrigerator.
- Step 6 – When cooled, separate the two parts of the mold.
Be careful. The
candle comes out very easily. Do not drop it.
- Step 7 – You are now holding your new floating candle. Just
cut the wick to
the required size, and ENJOY YOUR NEW CANDLE!!!
